Using Export Shortcuts

To create a Shortcut:

1. After WireTap Studio has made a connection for an export, there is an Add as Shortcut...button in the lower left corner of the export dialog.



2. Click on it and the details of that export connection will be saved as a Shortcut.
3. Name the Shortcut and set the options.






Paste a custom icon to help identify your Shortcut.

Always Show "Save As..."dialog box - with this option checked a Save As..dialog will be shown on export allowing you to rename the recording.

Always replace existing files - with this option checked WireTap Studio will not display a replace dialog if you are exporting to a destination containing a file with the same name as the recording.

Make available to other Ambrosia apps - with this option checked Shortcuts made in WireTap Studio will be available to other Ambrosia applications with export capabilities.

4. Click on Add.
5. The next time a recording is dragged onto that destination button, a Shortcuts popup menu will be displayed listing all shortcuts of that type.

Note:To open the Shortcuts popup menu, the recording must be dragged onto the destination button.

To edit a Shortcut:

1. Press the control key and click on the Export tool bar to bring up the Shortcuts contextual menu.



2. Select Edit Shortcuts.
3. Make your changes.

To delete a Shortcut:

1. Press the control key and click on the Export tool bar to bring up the Shortcuts contextual menu.
2. Select Edit Shortcuts.
3. Select the shortcut to be deleted and click on Remove Shortcut.



4. Click on Done.
